DALLAS - Oxea is increasing off-list prices on certain intermediates effective September 1, 2013, or as contracts allow.
In the United States, Canada and Mexico, the following products will increase $0.03 per pound: i/n butanol (list price, Zone 1: $1.78), i/n butyl acetate (list price, Zone 1: $1.51), n butyraldehyde (list price, Zone 1: $1.79), n propanol (list price, Zone 1: $1.45) and n propyl acetate (list price, Zone 1: $1.43).
In South and Central America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, the following products will increase $66 per metric ton: i/n butanol, i/n butyl acetate, n propanol and n propyl acetate.
Effective immediately, Oxea will implement a 100 percent sales control on all products in the Intermediates portfolio. The sales control will be based on the average monthly consumption over the last six months or as allowed by contract.
