DUSSELDORF, Germany - The European Coatings Conference, “Protective Coatings,” is taking place September 12–13, 2013, in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The conference offers attendees the opportunity to learn more about novel materials and technologies for high-performance protective coatings. The focus will be on the latest developments in protective coatings for industrial and marine applications, but fire protection will also be explored.

Topics to be presented include zinc-free anti-corrosive pigments, computer-aided corrosion prevention, wetting and dispersing additives for water-based anti-corrosive paints, rust-free protection by functional coatings, and mini-emulsion polymers as binders for fire-retardant coatings.
