ELVERSON, PA – Paint and coatings manufacturer Whitford has hired Tom Hmiel as its new Regulatory Manager covering all markets. Hmiel comes to Whitford with more than 25 years of experience in regulatory affairs in the chemical industry. Most recently, he worked as a Chief Product Steward for Cytec’s engineered materials and formulated resins businesses, where he coordinated compliance with global product regulatory requirements, supporting manufacturing in the United States, Europe and Asia, while serving a global customer base in aerospace, automotive, filtration and electronic component markets.
