CINCINNATI - Steve Shifman, President and CEO of Michelman, was given the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year^® 2013 award at an event held June 27, 2013, in Cincinnati. Shifman was chosen winner in the manufacturing category and will now go on to compete at the national level. 

The award recognizes outstanding high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. An independent panel of judges selected the finalists and winners.

Award winners in several national categories, as well as the national entrepreneur of the year overall award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, CA, on November 16, 2013.  The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum^®, a gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
