COLUMBUS, OH – AkzoNobel has announced a price increase on all coil coatings products for North America. Effective with shipments beginning on September 1, 2013, AkzoNobel will be implementing a 4 percent price increase on all coil coatings products.

Over the past two years, AkzoNobel has worked to offset the impact of raw material increases through improvements in operational efficiencies, optimization of manufacturing locations and supplier negotiations. However, ongoing raw material, freight and other business cost increases continue to outpace efforts to control costs.
