XIRAN SZ25010 and XIRAN SZ40005 styrene maleic anhydride (SMA) resins each have lower molecular weight compared to existing XIRAN grades. XIRAN SZ25010 has a Mw of 10,000, and XIRAN SZ40005 has a Mw as low as 5,000. XIRAN SZ25010 has 25-percent maleic anhydride content, and XIRAN SZ40005 has maleic anhydride content of 42 percent. Benefits include easy processability of adhesives and more durable colors in coatings.
