PARSIPPANY, NJ – Pump Systems Matter (PSM) and the Hydraulic Institute (HI) are offering a Pump Systems Optimization three-part webinar series. The series will begin on June 3, 2013. Participants will examine and identify opportunities for energy savings, learn how to increase profitability, and learn how to increase reliability in their pumping systems. They will also earn five professional development hour credits from HI upon completion of the series. The webinar series will consist of three modules. Each module will contain internet-based pre-work training and a live, one-hour webinar.
Module one, System Optimization Webinar, will take place June 3 at 11:00 a.m. EDT. This module will help participants identify cost saving and energy efficiency opportunities, identify system optimization opportunities, understand energy use of current systems in the market, and understand energy use by system, component, and industry.
Module two, Screening & Analysis Webinar, will take place June 10 at 11:00 a.m. EDT. The module will teach participants the objectives of screening a system, screening data used in identifying priorities, how to identify priorities, the end results of screening, the objectives of analyzing a pump system, and analysis tools.
Module three, Life Cycle Cost Analysis & Action Planning Webinar, will take place June 17 at 11:00 a.m. EDT. This module will teach participants how to prove the benefits of a pump system optimization, how to implement system improvements and measure their effects on lifecycle cost, how to understand the PSM action plan, the benefits of using an action plan, and how to identify the steps of the action plan.
