Oxea Announces Price Increases

DALLAS – Oxea will increase off-list prices on 2 ethylhexanoic acid and certain solvents effective March 1, 2013, or as contracts allow.
In the United States, Canada and Mexico, i/n butanol will increase $0.05/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.78), i/n butyl acetate will increase $0.05/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.51), n butyraldehyde will increase $0.05/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.79), n propanol will increase $0.05/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.45), and n propyl acetate will increase $0.05/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.43).
In South and Central America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, i/n butanol, i/n butyl acetate, n propanol and n propyl acetate will increase $110/mt.
In North America and Latin America, 2 ethylhexanoic acid will increase $0.05/lb.
Oxea will continue a 100 percent sales control on all Intermediate products. The sales control will be based on the average monthly consumption over the last six months or as allowed by contract.
