BARCELONA, Spain – Inorganic pigments producer Nubiola, Barcelona, Spain, is partnering with Tekniker, a technology center based in the Basque Country, Spain, on the NANOPIGMY project.
Created in 2012 and funded by the European Community's Seventh Framework Program, the NANOPIGMY project seeks to produce cost-effective, nanotechnology-based multi-functional ceramic pigments based on the Ultramarine Blue pigment structure.
Tekniker will act as the scientific coordinator of the project, and Nubiola will be responsible for overall management of the project. Other consortium members include Acciona, Bsria, CRF, Performance Masterbatches (PMB), Pinova, and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (AMU).
