AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands - AkzoNobel has launched a new initiative at its International Research Centre in Bangalore, India. The India Analytical Centre (IAC) will provide analytical services for coatings businesses in India.

The IAC will use scientists, measurement methodologies and analytical equipment from AkzoNobel’s R&D locations in both Bangalore and Thane. The IAC is equipped with instrument technologies like spectroscopy and rheology, and thermal analysis and corrosion studies. In addition, the IAC will also be home to the color group, a team of technicians using processes and software to develop next-generation color tools, algorithms, formula development and training.
