WESEL, Germany/Wallingford, CT - Work to construct a new three-story production building has begun on the newly acquired company grounds of BYK USA in Wallingford, CT.

The overall project, which will cost roughly EUR 36 million, represents an important milestone in the global corporate strategy of BYK Additives & Instruments and is the biggest investment of the ALTANA Group to date as a whole outside of Germany. Completion and commissioning are expected to occur in 2014.
