CEDEX, France - Arkema has finalized the acquisition of an acrylic additives and emulsions production site from Brazilian company Resicryl. The site, located in Araçariguama on the outskirts of Saõ Paulo, will be part of Arkema’s subsidiary Coatex, which already runs commercial operations in Brazil.

The site’s production plants will gradually be set up to manufacture Arkema’s rheology additives and waterborne emulsions for the mineral industry, paper, construction, water treatment, coatings and adhesives, and cosmetics markets.
