THE WOODLANDS, TX – Huntsman Corp.’s VITROX^® Composite Resins product has received the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry’s 2012 Polyurethane Innovation Award. The award recognizes companies and individuals who bring new products, technologies and initiatives to the marketplace.

Attendees at the opening session of the 2012 Polyurethanes Technical Conference, which ran from September 24 to 26 in Atlanta, voted for one award finalist. The winner was announced during the closing session.

According to Huntsman Corp., the pipe-repair resins are the first polyurethanes-based resins used in a cure-in-place pipe application.
