CARY, NC – Effective October 25, 2012, or as contracts allow, Arkema Coating Resins will increase pricing on all latex products sold in North America. ENCOR^® and SNAP^® acrylic, styrene-acrylic and styrene-butadiene latexes, NEOCAR^® acrylic latexes, and Celocor^® opaque polymer will increase by $0.04 to $0.05 per wet pound. ENCOR vinyl-acrylic, vinyl acetate-ethylene and NEOCAR latexes will increase by $0.02 to $0.03 per wet pound.

Also effective October 25, 2012, or as contracts allow, Arkema Coating Resins will increase pricing on all solvent-borne coating resins sold in North America. Chempol™ acrylics, alkyds, polyesters and oils will increase by $0.05 to $0.08 per pound.
