BETHESDA, MD/SYRACUSE, NY - SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) in collaboration with RadTech - The Association for UV and EB Technology are partnering to present "The Future of UV/EB Advanced Manufacturing: Trends, Strategies, and Applications,” a monthly webinar series. SUNY-ESF is home to the Institute for Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing (ISMM) and its Ultraviolet/Electron Beam (UV/EB) Technology Center. ISMM's mission is to study, develop, and transfer the latest technologies in sustainable materials and manufacturing, and to educate manufacturers, students, and others about the benefits of these technologies.

This international webinar series will address trends and applications for individuals and organizations committed to expanding their knowledge or exploring the use of energy saving and environmentally proactive UV/EB technologies. Selected topics will include materials, equipment, measurements, state and federal regulations, and applications, including food packaging and metal finishing.

All webinars are offered free to interested individuals. The first webinar is scheduled for September 27, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. EST. It features Dr. Mike Idacavage, Director, Business Development, Esstech Inc., who will present "Introduction to the Basics of UV/EB Materials."
