Dr. Rathindra DasGupta of the National Science Foundation (NSF) delivered the second keynote address yesterday at the conference, titled Accelerating Discovery to Innovation. His talk kept with the theme of partnerships within our industry introduced by SW and the USB.

Dr. DasGupta discussed the tremendous work going on at the university level, and how companies can work closely with these institutions to help bring these ideas from the lab into production. He gave a number of examples of success stories to help further encourage collaboration between academia and industry.
