From 1:00-3:30 today at Anton Paar’s Booth #426, Thomas Mezger and other company technical specialists are featuring an “Ask a Rheologist” session. These specialists will be available to answer questions relating to viscosity, rheology and how to use these measurements to solve your problems. Any and all questions are welcome.

Mezger gave a special presentation this morning at 10:00 a.m., where he discussed how the movement to waterborne coatings has increased the need to characterize the complete rheological behavior of coatings. The presentation included modern test methods simulating flow behavior during and after application (levelling, sag), evaluation methods for long-term storage stability (sedimentation, syneresis) and the effect of rheological additives.
