MUNICH, Germany – WACKER POLYMERS is raising its prices for dispersible polymer powders globally, as well as for dispersions and polyvinyl alcohol solutions in Europe.

Effective June 1, 2012, prices for vinyl acetate-, vinyl chloride- and acrylic-based dispersible polymer powders of the VINNAPAS^® brand will be increased globally by up to seven percent, or as customer contracts allow.

In Europe, prices for VINNAPAS and VINNOL^® vinyl acetate- and acrylate-based dispersions will be raised, as well as for VINNACOAT^® and POLYVIOL^® polyvinyl alcohol solutions. Effective June 1, 2012, prices will be increased by up to 10 percent, or as customer contracts allow.
