MADISON HEIGHTS, MI – Sika Corp.’s Research and Development department announced the appointment of new personnel in the Madison Heights, MI, facility.

Elizabeth Farhat has joined the Sika Madison Heights R&D team as a Research Technician. Farhat will report to Steve Davis, Lab Manager, Elastomeric Technologies. Prior to joining Sika, Farhat worked for Delphi Corp. for 10 years, and for PPG Chemical for six months, in various chemist roles. Project focuses have included electrochemical sensors, solid oxide fuel cells, as well as various gas and particulate sensors. While at PPG, she was also responsible for ensuring adherence to lab safety procedures.
