TORRINGTON, CT - Bomar Specialties Inc., an innovator of advanced performance materials for energy (UV/EB), light, and other free-radical-cure applications, has announced its integration into Dymax Corp., a manufacturer of light-curing adhesives, coatings and equipment. As a result of the integration, Bomar Specialties will transition to Dymax Oligomers & Coatings.

Dymax Corp. co-founded Bomar Specialties in 1990, enabling the company to achieve a secure source of supply while improving product quality and expanding R&D capabilities. Dymax subsequently acquired 100-percent ownership of Bomar Specialties in 2001. The Bomar name will be retained as a Dymax Oligomers & Coatings brand. Bomar™ oligomers are used to formulate adhesives, inks, coatings and a variety of other products.

Dymax O&C manufactures Bomar oligomers in a 30,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located in Torrington, CT.
