HOUSTON– International Paint LLC, an AkzoNobel company, has promoted Chris McMillan to Protective Coatings Marketing Manager, North America. 

In this new role, McMillan will be responsible for managing and overseeing all of the product marketing and marketing communications activities related to the company’s International Paint, Devoe, Environline and Ceilcote brands serving the oil and gas, industrial, water and wastewater, high-value infrastructure, and commercial market segments throughout the United States, Canada and Latin America. 

McMillan has more than 12 years of coatings industry experience. He started his career at International Paint in 1999, working with the Research and Technology laboratory in color and product formulations, then moving into product and market management until he was named Senior Market Manager in 2008.
