CLEVELAND – Abstracts for podium and poster presentations are now being accepted for the 55th Annual Sink or Swim Technical Symposium, to be held June 4-5, 2012, at the Holiday Inn in Independence, OH. The deadline for submitting abstracts is February 28, 2012. This year’s symposium theme is “Inception Point: Nourishing the Future of Technology.”
Suggested topic ideas include: nanocoatings; green sustainable technologies; raw materials, surfactants and additives; application methods and equipment; coatings industry trends; pigment dispersions; improved corrosion resistance; emulsion polymers; new polymer technologies; automotive coatings; wood coatings; VOC/HAPs/RoHs issues; analysis and characterization; process and manufacturing; and color technology.
Time allotted for each speaker will be 25 minutes for the actual presentation and five minutes for questions. However, organizers will try and accommodate speakers who need additional time.
