HORSHAM, PA- The Philadelphia Society for Coatings Technology (PSCT) will feature the annual Wayne Kraus Technical Lecture at its technical meeting in January. The meeting will take place January 19, 2012, at the Williamson Restaurant in Horsham, PA. Dudley J. Primeaux II, the Wayne Kraus Annual Technical Lecture and Award recipient, will give a presentation titled "The Sequence of Events: the Polyurea Story." Primeaux has been directly involved in the polyurea story since early development in the 1980’s. With a background in organic chemistry, Primeaux has authored over 40 technical papers relating to the polyurea industry, and is named inventor on over 25 U.S. patents and eight European patents. He has experience in the preparation of new raw materials, formulation development, application equipment usage, field application work and failure analysis of coating/lining projects.
Also at the January meeting, Joe Mulvey, Brenntag Specialties Inc., will give a presentation titled “Hindered Aliphatic Amine / Polyisocyanate Technology – A Property Review.”
