Wagner Industrial Solutions held an open house on May 14 at its facilities in Elgin, IL. More than 100 systems integrators, suppliers, associates and members of the trade press toured the liquid and powder coating facilities and had a firsthand opportunity to try out Wagner’s newest products.

Wagner Industrial Solutions held an open house on May 14 at its facilities in Elgin, IL. More than 100 systems integrators, suppliers, associates and members of the trade press toured the liquid and powder coating facilities and had a firsthand opportunity to try out Wagner’s newest products. From fully automated powder coating in the SuperCube™ to the flexibility of a manual PrimaCell™, each visitor got a chance to participate in live liquid and powder coating demonstrations.

Wagner moved into the 55,000 ft2 Elgin facilities early this year and began construction of two, fully equipped applications labs to help train customers and prove the benefits of the company’s technology.

“This is really a first-class operation,” observed Steve Houston, president of the Powder Coating Institute. “It’s the kind of thing our industry needs to help grow the technology and improve powder coatings’ future.”
