Galaxy Associates, Inc., a Cincinnati-based supplier of specialty chemical products to a variety of industries, has been chosen to receive Hoffman/Pentair’s “Supplier Excellence Award.” According to Anna Kramer, a spokesperson for Hoffman, Galaxy Associates was responsible for reducing overall pretreatment costs at the company, while Hoffman has grown steadily.

Overall pretreatment costs at the company have decreased, while at the same time Hoffman has grown steadily.

Galaxy also reduced the company’s overall operating costs through prolonged tank life and reduced temperatures in Hoffman’s washer systems, resulting in savings worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Kramer noted that Galaxy has continually driven improvements and achieved real results by aligning themselves with Hoffman’s personnel and their needs throughout the entire manufacturing process.
