Nordson is displaying a variety of powder coating application solutions at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) this week (October 30 - November 2) at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV.

Highlighting the exhibit (Booth 24007) is an active powder coating and curing demonstration featuring the Nordson Sure Coat manual spray gun, Nordson Econo-Coat batch-type powder spray booth, and curing oven.

A new Sure Coat gun nozzle kit featuring an assortment of nozzle types and sizes is being used to help demonstrate how matching a particular powder spray pattern and part shape can improve finish quality and consistency, while minimizing powder overspray and waste. Additionally, a new smaller-size (3’w x 3’6”h spray area) Econo-Coat powder spray booth is demonstrating how to properly contain and recover powder overspray when coating parts such as automotive wheels, springs and a variety of other parts that fit into this particular size work envelope.

Also being displayed are both 50-lb (23 kg) capacity fluidized hopper and vibratory box feed version, self-contained mobile powder spray systems, as well as a new round, stainless-steel 25-lb. (11 kg) capacity fluidizing hopper and optional three-caster dolly.
