The new HEUCODUR® IR pigments from Heubach reflect IR radiation and can therefore significantly reduce the heat buildup on buildings and other structures compared to conventional pigments. Coatings incorporating the new pigments can reduce energy requirements for air-conditioning. The pigments are available in a range of color shades, from yellow to black, and enable the formulation of not only architectural, building and construction coatings, tiles, plasters etc., but also coatings for automotive exterior and interior applications, such us dashboards and tanks.
