RAG Beteiligungs-AG, headquartered in Essen, Germany, has consolidated all of its businesses, including Degussa, under the new name Evonik Industries AG. Degussa is now the Chemicals business area of Evonik. The other divisions of the new company include Energy and Real Estate.
