The 2007 Southern Metal Finishing Conference, sponsored by the Southern Metal Finishing Newsletter, will be hosting a two day workshop on metal surface cleaning, September 24th-25th. The course will be taught by the world renowned chemical and engineering professional and consultant, Dr. John B Durkee, PhD. P.E. The theme of the course is 21st Century Cleaning Technologies. Topics will include n-propyl bromide, EPA regulation, managing chemical hazards, aqueous and solvent cleaning, nano technology, oil-water separators, methods for measuring surface cleanliness, ultra-sonic transducers, and much more. Participants can also look forward to an in-depth question and answer session.
