(VTI), a manufacturer of thermal evaporation, cathodic arc, and sputtering coating technologies, has named Tom Calzolaio, C.P.M., as materials manager based at the company’s headquarters in Van Etten, NY. Calzolaio previously worked at BorgWarner, Inc. in Ithaca, NY, where he was a senior buyer responsible for purchases of powdered metal components and injection molded components. Prior to BorgWarner, Calzolaio worked at Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., Inc. in Brewerton, NY, as materials manager, and at E-ONE New York, a fire and rescue vehicle manufacturer, as materials manager. He brings to VTI 25 years of material purchasing experience, as well as 14 years of management experience.
