EPO-LUX 520, a new chemical resistant, aliphatic polyurethane coating from The STEELCOTE Division of Chemline Inc., is specifically formulated for brush, roller or low pressure spray application. The coating can be used for interior or exterior application over a wide variety of surfaces. Once applied, the coating forms a dense, tight polyurethane film that it is particularly resistant to staining by aviation fuels, inks, tires containing sulfur, and heavy wheel traffic.
The coating can be used for both interior and exterior surfaces that have been previously coated or bare surfaces. It can be used on metal, concrete, or masonry surfaces, including floors, walls, ceilings, tanks and equipment. According to the company, the product’s high chemical resistance makes it ideal for aviation hangar floors, clean rooms, laboratories, printing plants, white rooms, and many other areas that are difficult to keep clean.
