Surface Engineering for Aerospace and Defense, a new conference sponsored by NASF and ASM International, aims to bring together surface engineering professionals from electroplating, PVD, CVD, thermal spray, ion implantation to discuss problems facing the aerospace and defense industries. The meeting will be broken down into four sessions: Green Manufacturing and De-Manufacturing, Engineered Materials for Harsh Environments, Extending Service Life and Enhancing Performance, and Surface Engineering and Global Climate Change. Each session will consist of a keynote speaker, additional speakers from industry and panel discussions.
The event will be held January 21-22, 2008, at the Coronado Springs Hotel in Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL. The registration fee is $350.
