Dynamix™ Black 30C940 from The Shepherd Color Co. is a “stir-in” inorganic color pigment. Part of the Arctic® range for coatings, the product can be used widely in color matches to maximize total solar reflectance (TSR), minimize heat build up and reduce overall energy costs.
According to the company, the new pigment technology requires only simple mixing. The time it takes to reach complete dispersion will depend on the intensity of the mixing equipment but can be achieved in as little as five minutes. The product is compatible with solvent and waterborne coatings systems, as well as 100% solids systems and UV cured coatings. Color can be added at any stage. The color and tint strength properties are “locked-in” and can be achieved consistently.
