KECO Coatings and Rivers Metal Products Develop Textured Coating Process
KECO Coatings, in conjunction with Rivers Metal Products, has developed the KECO 600 Tex/Release TM Coating™, a textured composite coating that combines the toughness of tungsten carbide and the release properties of Teflon®. When the process is applied to rotational molds, it provides a unique secondary textured finish to rotomolded products. The coating can be applied to new and existing rotational molds. It is available in a wide range of surface finishes, as well as a variety of controlled non-stick release attributes. The process can be applied to most alloys including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum and aluminum castings.
