The Protech/Oxyplast Group of Montreal has purchased a new production facility in Fairfield, NJ, 10 miles from Protech’s current location in Parsippany, NJ.
“We should be able to move into this new location by the second quarter of 2007,” explained David Ades, managing director of The Protech Group. “This move reaffirms our commitment to the Northeast and allows us to better serve our clients in this important area. The new plant will improve our manufacturing efficiency and increase our capacity by over 50%,” Ades added. We have a highly technical and committed staff that will continue to flourish in this new facility.”
Through its Belgian affiliate, Oxyplast Belgium NV, The Protech/Oxyplast Group has also concluded its previously reported transaction to purchase the powder coatings business of Flanders Powder NV of Wevelgem, Belgium. The deal also gives The Protech Group a participation in Ekopowder of Opava, The Czech Republic.
