Management consultant, author and trainer, Michael P. Collins, will present the keynote address at FIN-X ’07, which will be held September 17-20 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN. Collins recently published his third book titled Saving American Manufacturing, which outlines the changes that he feels are necessary for manufacturers not only to survive and compete, but to get back on a track of growth. In his presentation, Collins will make an argument for stopping the decline of manufacturing from defensive solutions, such as cost reduction, to offensive solutions that are customer-driven. He will share some of the many stories of progressive small and midsize manufacturers who are growing despite the obstacles of globalization.
