Akzo Nobel has appointed Eileen Sottile, director of Government Relations for Keystone Automotive Industries, to the Collision Industry Advancement Initiative (CIAI) Advisory Council. Sottile will serve on the council for one year and will become the new chair of the council in the fall of 2008. She is a member of the 2006 class of Most Influential Women in the Collision Repair Industry.
As director of Government Relations for Keystone, the largest aftermarket parts distributor in the U.S. and Canada, Sottile directs all federal and state legislative and regulatory activity, lobbying, political contributions and grassroots efforts for the automotive aftermarket parts industry. She is also co-chair of the government affairs committee for the Automotive Body Parts Association (ABPA), a national organization of aftermarket manufacturers and distributors.
