Benda-Lutz Corp. has opened an expansion to its plant in Independence, KY. The plant's second expansion in five years has increased capacity for its Blitz™ Bonding service for the powder coating industry, allowing for reduced production lead times, and it has also significantly increased available warehouse space. The company said that it will use the additional warehousing to hold inventory of its metallic pigments for direct sales into the powder coatings, paints, plastics, and aerated concrete markets in the U.S. and Central America.
