Q-Lab Corp. (formerly Q-Panel Lab Products) broke ground September 1 on a 72,000-square-foot expansion of its Cleveland, OH, headquarters and manufacturing facility that will more than double the company's current space. The company said that the expansion was needed to meet the growing demand for its products around the world, maintain short lead times and provide more space for the company's rapidly growing engineering staff. Q-Lab will also be able to expand its R&D and training centers.

Q-Lab President Douglas Grossman commented, "After 50 years in the business, we still see tremendous growth in our customer base. This expanded facility will allow us to better serve those new customers, while continuing to offer the best reliability and the customer support in the industry." The company is celebrating 50 years of service in 2006.
