BASF Corp., headquartered in New Jersey, was recently honored as a General Motors Supplier of the Year for exceptional performance as a global supplier of automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) coatings in 2005. This was the third time since 2002 that BASF has received this award. Jay Baker, vice president of BASF's Coatings business in North America, accepted the award on behalf of BASF during recognition ceremonies April 29, 2006, at GM's Vehicle Engineering Center at the General Motors Technical Center in Warren, Mich.
