The Novo-Shade Duo is a dual-function reflectometer developed for measuring shade and calculating opacity with 45/0º geometry. The instrument conforms to international ISO, ASTM and BS standards and features an automatic calibration mode for safe and fast calibration, a continuous-read feature for quickly checking large surface for color or opacity variations, statistical analysis of stored readings for an instant identification of batch quality, the ability to download readings to a PC for further analysis, and an extended-life lightsource (more than 10 years of operation under normal conditions).
