Cytec to Raise Prices on Powder Coating Resins and Additives (9/20/06)
Effective October 1, 2006, Cytec Industries Inc. is increasing prices by $0.06/lb for all grades of its CRYLCOAT® powder coating resins and its ADDITOL® additives for powder coatings sold in North and South America. The company said that the price increases are being driven by further escalation in raw material costs coupled with continuing strong demand. The company also said that it continues to implement cost savings initiatives as much as possible in order to minimize the impact of rising raw material costs.
