The new compact Excel 3000 Powder Spray Booth from Nordson Corp. is designed to give users the performance capability to meet varying production requirements in a smaller overall footprint. The booth features plug-and-spray technology for quick installation and startup, a compact design that allows for faster color change, and a low base height for easy access.

A number of booth base lengths and system configurations are available, including 6-ft, 10-ft and 15-ft bases as standard. Standard locations for all gun and system controls ensure that all controls are within quick reach for ease of operation, and precabled locations allow for quick and easy installation.

The booth’s canopy design features a clear copolymer roof for ample light during powder spray application and comes standard with sturdy galvanized wall panels or optional PolyPlus™ wall panels, which reportedly provide enhanced light within the spray booth and low attraction of powder to the booth wall surface, allowing for fast and easy color changes.

Available in 8,000 cfm, 10,800 cfm and 15,000 cfm versions, in various modular system configurations, the spray booth allows for flexible location of both automatic and manual gun stations. The booth is available with a galvanized floor standard, or with an optional stainless steel floor.
