Walther Pilot has introduced the new Medium-Pressure Maxi and Mini spraying system technology with spray pressures of between 0.7 and 1.5 bar (10 to 20 psi), thereby closing the gap between HVLP and conventional spraying systems. Medium-pressure spray guns achieve optimal atomization with a wide range of media. Furthermore, tests performed in accordance with prEN 13966 have shown that these medium-pressure spray guns also achieve the transfer efficiency of 65% prescribed for HVLP systems. Transfer efficiencies of more than 70% were measured with some materials. Like the HVLP system, the new Medium-Pressure technology makes a valuable contribution towards meeting VOC limits.
