"The development of the RM425XAK was a true partnership from inception to introduction," says James Weaver, X-Rite's vice president of marketing and product development. "With its wireless capability and accuracy, we believe this spectrophotometer is a perfect solution for Akzo Nobel customers worldwide. We are pleased to work with a leader like Akzo Nobel to bring innovative technology to the global coatings market."
The RM425XAK will be fully supported by Akzo Nobel's Mix2Win software. This application enables the operator to enter and store the instrument's spectral values into a computer. Through its extensive database, the closest colors can be found, and if needed, manipulated to ensure the correct formulation.
