Air Products Polymers announced its intention to expand production capacity of Airflex vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) emulsions in the United States by 65 million wet pounds per year over the next several months through low cost debottlenecking at its two U.S. manufacturing facilities in Calvert City, Ky., and South Brunswick, N.J. The first phases of the additional capacity were on stream this summer with a second phase to be implemented this fall.
