Ultra Tech Machinery, Inc. has appointed Loren (Larry) Foster to the position of senior design and process engineer. In his new position, Foster is responsible for systems design, including tooling, hydraulics and pneumatics. He will also work with customers after the sale in the role of process engineer, overseeing all aspects of the project.

Foster brings to Ultra Tech more than 35 years engineering experience in the manufacturing environment, of which the last 16 years were specifically rotary transfer machine design. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University, St. Louis, MO; Associate of Arts, Engineering Science, St. Louis Community College and Associate of Science, Electronics Technology, United States Air Force Academy.
