WESEL, Germany - A product of ALTANA's ACTEGA division has been awarded with the annual ALTANA Innovation Award. The award went to the company’s PVC-free sealing compound system, which is already successfully distributed under the brand name PROVALIN in the food packaging market. This innovation responds to the legislative requirements and demands of the market to withdraw the use of PVC-based sealing compounds and PVC-based coatings in food containers and packaging.
