The exact roundness as well as the smooth and polished surface of the beads contributes to this low wear rate. This means there is nearly no contamination of the grinding product. This applies particularly to materials and products within the nano-particle range. The beads show excellent performance in low-viscosity suspensions, especially in water-based systems in high-speed mills.
