OMNOVA Solutions announced a price increase in North America of $0.05 to $0.08 per pound for Pliotec® acrylic and styrene acrylic resins, depending on the grade, and two percent for Pliolite®, Hydro Pliolite™ and Plioway® acrylic copolymer dry resins.

FAIRLAWN, OH – OMNOVA Solutions announced a price increase in North America of $0.05 to $0.08 per pound for Pliotec® acrylic and styrene acrylic resins, depending on the grade, and two percent for Pliolite®, Hydro Pliolite™ and Plioway® acrylic copolymer dry resins. The increase will be effective on June 20, 2011, or as contracts allow, and is necessary to offset the rise in the cost of raw materials used in the production of these products.
